everyday at work...

i think the only reason i go to work these days is because there is internet access. for some reason our internet isn't working at home, actually the reason is because the ppl who wired the flat before us (i should say, rather, before they sold it to us), wired it half-monkied. therefore all the wires are going beserk and don't work. We've had pccw come already 3xs and each time they tell us our wires are going to die at any time and we'll need to drill another hole in the wall to bring the main internet wire thru to create a new home for our modem. well... unfortunately that time has come and we've been procrastinating about having the electrician (i think that's who we'll have to call) come to drill that hole.

anyhow, so yah... that's why i come to work everyday. to access internet. on a computer i might add- since i do have blackberry but i really shouldn't use it too much since who knows what strange and damaging long term effects might have on you little girl... i think that's one of mom's bad habits. need to slow it down.

so everyday at work i come in and check email... usually though not work email first, since i've checked laying in bed when i get up everymorning-- no contacts in, reading email. so first stop- yahoo mail. second stop gmail. third stop is usually a blog in the morning, here. :)

fourth stop we actually visit this one really neat blog "pacing the panic room". it's about a dad who writes candidly about his family which he's just received a little blessing recently of a little girl tessa tangerine. Anyhow, it was nice because they actaully got me and dad to thinking about using cloth diapers since they are using this brand fuzzi bunz. I started to do some more research on the option of using cloth/reusable diapers just because diapers especially here are more expensive! of course we're going to ship a bunch back before we go back home to grandma'pas... but we like how we can help do our little part in helping to conserve the earth-- for you when you grow up. Diapers take about 5 yrs to break down, which is a LOT. and with the millions of babies being born (though i'm sure a lot use cloth in 3rd world countries or perhaps none at all, i.e. a la shanghai even) that's a pretty good amount of diapers. so it's nice because today's post from pacing the panic room says that we might even be able to win some new fuzzibunz which would be such a wonderful thing!! and even if we don't, we're still going to use cloth diapers, just because it's better for our environment, for your environment and hopefully that means also less diaper rash for you little girl. :)

after the more important things out of the way, we start going into the preggo related sites (and what a long list i have...) first of those being usually tpf's preg forum. it's always interesting to see what other ladies have to say... about random nonsense sometimes and othertimes it's just good to read personal information/insight/ real stuff vs. the books... then all the places to spend money on you... more money on you... amazon, ebay, mamabargains, babysteals, minisocial, greenbabybargains, etc... some more blogs... though not all checked daily at this point...

and this is why i go to work still everyday. :) hopefully though by the time you get closer to meeting us for the first time, daddy will have had the electrician come to fix our internet. so then i really don't have to come to work anymore. haha.

on another note- mommy's been able to sleep quite well the past 3 nights. i think it's b/c before we sleep, daddy sings to you for about 10 minutes. it's been wonderful since that means not so much tossing and turning in the middle of the night. :) yay! we will start to sing you ABC's too, perhaps to get a head start. ;)

we love you lots... keep growing...
XXOOOOOOOOOOOO mommy & daddy

ps: to keep track of charlie horses- mommy had another one the other night-- two nights ago i think, but it wasn't NEARLY as bad as the one on 7/30... this one was only starting and daddy managed to help stretch out mommy's leg so it lasted only a minute if that... though i can still feel it coming on, lingering, which means time for more yogurt and calcium. :)
